English Two Shilling Coin Ring (1950 - 1959) - Made to Order
Yes, this is a ring that has been made from a two shilling coin! We do this by stamping out the middle and twisting the coin in on itself to create the ring! Plus a few more steps in the middle to make it perfect but I won’t bore you with those!
So just to give you peace of mind we only pick the best looking coins to turn into rings. All of the coins we use have been in circulation and you should expect to see a few minor scratches on the ring. But you’ll never see big scratches or scuff marks!
The date is the best bit about the coin ring as you can choose a date and it will be seen on the ring too! The dates you can choose from start at 1849 - 1967. The price will differ throughout the years as the composition of the coin changes. For example 1849 - 1919 the coin was minted with 92.5% silver in it! 1920 - 1946 the coin was reduced to have 50% silver, and from 1947 - 1967 it was made from cupronickel.
Choose a date that means something to you! A year someone close to you was born, the year you got married, the year you had your first child or second child. The reasons why are endless.
